Aqua Afrique out there

Thanks to the “water taxes” at Bankeråt, customers and staff have succeeded in raising more than 130.000 kr. for the project in just 14 years. As a result of this, no less than 13 wells have been build in Africa and India.

How the money is spent

Today it costs about 10.000 kr. to build a well, and as soon as the money is handed over to DanChurchAid they take care of all the rest. After about a year, when the well has been build, we receive pictures of how the locals in the village use it.

We also receive a certificate that documents that Bankeråt has paid the costs of the well in question. Then we can all see how the money is spent.
